Yes — 92.5% pure silver, which is what the 925 stamp means. The remaining 7.5% is usually copper, added because pure silver is too soft to hold a ring shape. It's the standard for real silver jewelry worldwide and has been for centuries. "Silver-tone" and "silver-plated" are different things entirely and worth checking for.

Yes, with the caveat that silver is softer than gold and rings take more abuse than anything else you wear. Expect fine scratches within months — that's normal and most people stop noticing. What it won't do is bend out of shape or break under ordinary wear.

They do, and it isn't damage. Tarnish is the copper reacting with sulphur in the air, and it wipes off with a polishing cloth in under a minute. Wearing it constantly actually slows it — skin contact keeps the surface clean. A ring left in a drawer for a year darkens far faster than one worn every day.

Gold vermeil gives you the gold colour, and ours is 3.0 microns thick against an industry standard of 0.2, but any plating on a ring eventually thins at the contact points. If you want gold that never wears, that's solid gold and a different budget.
