This is beautiful! I wrote a children's book where the main character is an star and this necklace is a lovely reminder to myself about the hope introverts about and the hope that I try to keep with me. I hope there are matching earrings, but if not, there should be!🤍

Very cute, but unfortunately it has one major issue. The star charms are open in the back, and that makes it so they can easily flip to the wrong way,. It’s hard to explain, I’ll attach a photo of the star backwards. I would have preferred the stars were full charms.

I wanted a solid yellow gold necklace with two stars that was subtle that I could wear everyday. I LOVE this necklace! Great quality, and the real solid gold shows so much better than any of my gold-plated jewelry (see comparison with other necklace) It lays nicely and that clasp doesn't drop forward which I really like. The stars themselves are "hollow" in the back, but this does not bother me at all since it lays so nicely. Very happy with my purchase!

This jewelry is perfect! We gave these star necklaces out as gifts to the dancers on our middle school dance team. They all loved it! The picture shows two solid stars. Some came that way, but some unexpectedly came as star outlines. It would have been appreciated to have a heads up that not all are the same. Not a huge deal, but it would have been helpful to know so we could have specified in our order that we wanted them all to be the same. Customer service is fantastic! When in communication with this shop the always responded promptly and kindly. Shipping was fast and easy. The necklaces got here earlier than expected which was a huge help. Under it is sterling silver, which is hypoallergenic and worth something on its own. You can also choose the Prestige Gold option (the same 18K gold over a brass core) if you want the look for less and wear it less often. Every vermeil piece is covered by our 2-year warranty.

Put it on after lotion and perfume have dried. When it is off, keep it in the pouch it came in — the pouch is anti-tarnish, not decoration. To clean it, a soft dry cloth; never jewelry dip or anything abrasive, which strips the gold. Can I layer star and moon necklaces together?

Yes — they were made for it. Put the smaller pendant on a 16-inch chain and the larger on 18 inches, in the same metal colour, and they read as one night sky rather than two necklaces. Add a plain chain at 20 inches if you want three layers without a third symbol. Star studs or star huggies on the ear finish it without overdoing it.

What length necklace should I get?

If you are unsure, choose 18 inches — it sits just below the collarbone and works on almost everyone and with almost every neckline. 16 inches sits at the collarbone (the most popular length for dainty pendants and for layering as the top chain). 14 inches is a choker fit. 20 inches drops a few inches lower and is the right choice over a crew neck or as the bottom layer in a stack. This piece comes in 14, 16, 18 and 20 inches. If you are between lengths, go longer — a chain can always sit a little lower, and if a chain you already own comes up short, our 1, 2 and 3 inch extenders fix that in one clip.
