Every diamond in our fine jewelry is natural. Each one was formed deep within the earth, most more than a billion years ago, long before it was cut, polished and set in gold.

Many pieces that look like ours are made with lab-grown diamonds. Ours are not. Every piece in our fine jewelry collection is graded by the International Gemological Institute (IGI) and ships with its own certificate, so you never have to take our word for it.

Because each piece is crafted by master goldsmiths in Istanbul and comes directly to you, with no distributors or retail markups in between, we can offer natural diamonds at prices you would expect to pay for lab-grown.

Are these real diamonds?
Yes. Every stone is a natural mined round brilliant diamond, about 1.00 carat in all, G–H colour and SI clarity, and the ring ships with an IGI (International Gemological Institute) certificate. Nothing here is cubic zirconia, moissanite or lab-grown. Each ring is made by hand, so the total weight can vary slightly from ring to ring; the exact figure for yours is on its certificate.

What does “three-quarter eternity” mean?
The diamonds run across the top of the band and down both sides, about three quarters of the way round, and the last stretch, the part that sits against your palm, is plain polished white gold. From the back of the hand and from either side it reads as an unbroken line of diamonds; underneath, where nobody looks, there is smooth metal instead of stones.

Are these 14K solid gold all the way through?
Yes — solid 14K gold, no plating, no base metal, nothing to wear off. 14K means 58.5% pure gold alloyed for strength, which is the standard for fine jewelry you wear daily. It is naturally hypoallergenic, it will not tarnish, and it is the one tier in our range you can hand down without a second thought. The only thing that ever needs attention is the occasional polish.

Why is the underside plain?
Comfort, mostly. The plain section is the part that sits between your fingers, where a row of claws would rub against the neighbouring fingers and catch on knitwear. It also spares the diamonds the knocks the palm side takes every time you grip a bag strap, a railing or a steering wheel. The diamonds stay where they are seen.

Can it be resized later?
Only slightly, and only by a skilled jeweller. The plain base gives a little metal to work with, but the diamonds and their claws run round the rest of the band, so it cannot be stretched or cut far without putting the stones at risk. That is why we make it in your exact size after you order, and why it is final sale.

Can I wear a solid gold ring in the shower and to sleep?
Yes to both. Solid 14K gold does not tarnish, has no plating to wear through and does not react to water or sweat, so this is the ring you put on and forget about. Soap film and lotion will dull any gold over time — a soak in warm water with a drop of dish soap, then a soft cloth, brings the shine back in a minute. Take it off for the gym and heavy lifting: gold is a soft metal, and a ring is the piece that takes the knocks.

How do I get the size right?
Measure carefully, at the end of the day when your fingers are largest. Wrap a strip of paper round the base of the finger, mark where it meets, measure the length in millimetres and match it to a US size chart (about 52 mm is a 6, 54 mm a 7, 57 mm an 8). If you are between sizes, choose the larger: a band set with a row of diamonds sits a little snugger than a plain band of the same size. Each ring is made to your size, so it is final sale; if it arrives damaged or not as ordered, contact us within 7 days and we will put it right.

Can I wear it every day, and with my engagement ring?
Yes to both. The row is slim and sits low, so it stacks neatly beside an engagement ring or another band, and it is the classic wedding and anniversary ring. Each diamond is held by four claws, two on each edge of the row, shared with its neighbours. As with any claw-set ring, take it off for the gym, gardening and heavy work, and have the claws checked every couple of years.

How long does this ring take to arrive?
This ring is made to order in your size, so please allow 2 to 3 weeks for us to finish it before it ships. Once it ships, free standard USPS shipping takes 2 to 4 business days in the US, and you get a tracking number by email the moment it is on its way. Because it is made for you, we cannot change the size after checkout, so take one more look at your size before you pay. It arrives in our signature gift box with a suede pouch. We ship worldwide; international delivery runs 5 to 14 business days depending on the destination, and any customs duties are the buyer's.

How do I find my ring size at home?
Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, measure the length in millimetres and match it to a US ring size chart: 49 mm is a size 5, 52 mm a 6, 54 mm a 7, 57 mm an 8, 59 mm a 9. Measure at the end of the day when fingers are largest, and make sure the strip slides over the knuckle. If you already own a ring that fits, measure its inside diameter instead — 16.5 mm is a 6, 17.3 mm a 7, 18.2 mm an 8. This ring comes in US 5 to 12. Between sizes? Go up — a slightly loose ring is wearable, a tight one is not.
