Are these real diamonds?
Yes - every stone is a natural mined diamond, 1.10 carats in all, E-F colour and SI clarity. The bangle ships with an IGI (International Gemological Institute) certificate. Nothing here is cubic zirconia, moissanite or lab-grown.

How is the design put together?
Small pyramid studs of polished rose gold alternate with slim bars of three round brilliant diamonds set across the band - stud, bar, stud, bar, all the way round. The edges are smooth polished rails, and the inside of the band is an open lattice, which keeps it light and lets light in behind the stones.

Are these 14K solid gold all the way through?
Yes — solid 14K gold, no plating, no base metal, nothing to wear off. 14K means 58.5% pure gold alloyed for strength, which is the standard for fine jewelry you wear daily. It is naturally hypoallergenic, it will not tarnish, and it is the one tier in our range you can hand down without a second thought. The only thing that ever needs attention is the occasional polish.

Is it a bangle or a bracelet?
A bangle: one rigid oval band, not a chain. It opens on a hinge at the side and closes with a clasp, so it never has to be squeezed over your hand. Because it is rigid it holds its shape, and the studs always face out.

How do I get the size right?
A bangle is sized by its inside, so the fit matters more than with a chain. Measure your wrist just above the wrist bone with a soft tape or a strip of paper and add the measurement to the order note, and we make it to that wrist. If you are between sizes, tell us whether you like it close or a little loose.

Can I shower or sleep in a solid gold diamond bracelet?
A quick shower will not hurt solid 14K gold: it does not tarnish, has no plating to wear through and does not react to water. We still suggest taking a diamond bracelet off to sleep and for sport, because the wrist is the part of you that knocks into things, and a knock is what loosens a claw. Check the clasp and the safety latch now and then. Soap film and hand cream dull diamonds quickly, so soak it in warm water with a drop of mild soap, brush gently under the stones with a soft toothbrush, rinse, and dry with a soft cloth.

Will it stack with other bracelets?
It is slim enough to wear with a watch or another fine bracelet. Just remember that diamonds are harder than anything else on your wrist, so let it sit beside softer pieces rather than grind against them all day.

Can I wear it every day?
Yes. Solid 14K gold does not tarnish and has no plating to wear off. A rigid bangle takes the knocks a chain would dodge, so take it off for the gym, gardening and heavy work, and give it a wash now and then with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush.

This bangle is made to order, so it can be made to fit. A bangle is sized by its inside, not by its length: wrap a soft tape measure (or a strip of paper) snugly round your wrist just above the wrist bone and note the measurement. Because it opens on a hinge it does not have to slide over your hand, so it can sit closer than a slip-on bangle - just loose enough to turn on the wrist.
