Ordered the 10m, just as I was hoping for! There wasn’t an image showing the size relative to anything in particular but I think I would have been happy with any size. The gold is very rich but not overly shiny in a cheap way. They are clearly high quality with a very secure closure mechanism. Love!

Was very excited to receive these earrings, was just what I was looking for but they have started to (what I’m presuming is) tarnish after a few wears within the fortnight I have had them which is disappointing. They also have a very strong metallic smell. I’m unsure the quality is as I expected. I have photographed next to another pair of rose gold earrings I have had for years that have not done this to show a comparison.

These earrings aren't very shiny. I would recommend them if you want dull gold earrings. I have a feeling they are going to tarnish soon. Otherwise, i like the clicker style. I got the 12mm seems like a good size.

UPDATE to my original review: seller reached out and offered to refund and let me keep earrings. It appeared to be a mistake which can happen but he cleared things up right away which I appreciate.
The earrings that were shipped to me were different from the ones I ordered. I was planning to use these earrings for an event this weekend but now I have to go and find something else to replace them.

I’ve purchased two items from this shop. I want to share that a previous order advertised as solid gold ($350) wore down to reveal silver metal underneath after 2 years of normal wear, meaning it was certainly plated ($35 version).
When I reached out, the seller denied the earrings were from their shop, even though they were the replacement they sent when the original was lost in the mail (I have no other earrings in this style).
My most recent pair that is gold vermeil also arrived with a broken mechanism, and I haven’t received a response about an exchange. Just sharing my experience as a returning customer.

What does a heart necklace mean?
Love, obviously — but which love is up to you, and that is why the heart has outlasted every other pendant. Given, it means "you are loved" from a partner, a parent or a friend. Bought for yourself, it means you are on your own shortlist, which is the reading most women wear it with now. A small gold heart on a fine chain says it without saying it; a pavé heart says it and expects a compliment.
What does a double heart necklace mean?
Two people. A couple, a mother and child, two sisters, two best friends — two hearts touching on one chain is the simplest way to wear a relationship without a name on it. Some women wear it as past and present, or as the two halves of themselves. The triple heart version is three people, or three words, or simply three times the gold.
Is this earring real gold?
Yes — it is 18K gold vermeil: a thick layer of real 18K gold bonded over solid 925 sterling silver. Vermeil is an FTC-defined standard, not a marketing word, and ours uses a gold layer at least five times thicker than standard plating. Under it is sterling silver, which is hypoallergenic and worth something on its own. You can also choose the Prestige Gold option (the same 18K gold over a brass core) if you want the look for less and wear it less often. Every vermeil piece is covered by our 2-year warranty.
Is a heart necklace childish?
The plastic pink one was. A small, plain gold heart on a dainty chain is not — it is the necklace you probably wore first, grown up. The rule for keeping it adult is scale and restraint: one heart, fine chain, no enamel, worn alone or as the top layer. Pavé and CZ versions are dressier, not younger. Worn with a blazer, it reads as a classic; worn with a sweatshirt, it reads as a secret.
What does an infinity necklace mean?
Forever, with no beginning and no end — which is why it turns up for anniversaries, for friendships that survived a lot, and for the people you have lost. The sideways figure eight is also read as balance and as two lives joined, which makes it the quiet alternative to a heart when a heart feels too direct. Sisters buy them in twos.
Can I shower or sleep in my gold vermeil earring?
Sleep in it, yes. Shower in it, no. Water, sweat, perfume and hairspray are what age gold vermeil fastest, so the rule is simple: jewelry goes on last and comes off before the shower, the pool or the gym. Put it on after lotion and perfume have dried. When it is off, keep it in the pouch it came in — the pouch is anti-tarnish, not decoration. To clean it, a soft dry cloth; never jewelry dip or anything abrasive, which strips the gold. Treated this way, vermeil keeps its colour for years, which is exactly why we can put a 2-year warranty behind it.
Can I engrave a heart necklace?
The plain heart and the pavé heart on this page are not engraved — the design is the shape itself. If you want a letter on a heart, our initial-and-heart necklaces engrave an initial into a small gold heart; if you want a name, the name necklace with heart adds a heart charm beside the name. Both are made to order.
Is a heart necklace a good anniversary or Valentine's gift?
It is the one that works when you do not want to get the size wrong. A gold heart is the right scale for a first Valentine's and for a twentieth anniversary, because it says the same thing at both. Add her initial or a birthstone if you want it to be clearly hers. It arrives in our gift box with a suede pouch.

Are these earrings good for sensitive ears?
Yes. The part that touches your piercing is sterling silver (under 18K gold vermeil), 316L surgical steel, or solid 14K gold depending on the tier you choose — all three are nickel-safe and the same metals piercing studios use for fresh piercings. The reaction most people blame on "gold earrings" is actually nickel or brass in cheap posts, and there is none in ours. If your ears are very reactive, choose the 18K gold vermeil or solid gold option and wipe the posts with a little rubbing alcohol before the first wear.
