Ordered the 10m, just as I was hoping for! There wasn’t an image showing the size relative to anything in particular but I think I would have been happy with any size. The gold is very rich but not overly shiny in a cheap way. They are clearly high quality with a very secure closure mechanism. Love!

Was very excited to receive these earrings, was just what I was looking for but they have started to (what I’m presuming is) tarnish after a few wears within the fortnight I have had them which is disappointing. They also have a very strong metallic smell. I’m unsure the quality is as I expected. I have photographed next to another pair of rose gold earrings I have had for years that have not done this to show a comparison.

These earrings aren't very shiny. I would recommend them if you want dull gold earrings. I have a feeling they are going to tarnish soon. Otherwise, i like the clicker style. I got the 12mm seems like a good size.

UPDATE to my original review: seller reached out and offered to refund and let me keep earrings. It appeared to be a mistake which can happen but he cleared things up right away which I appreciate.
The earrings that were shipped to me were different from the ones I ordered. I was planning to use these earrings for an event this weekend but now I have to go and find something else to replace them.

I’ve purchased two items from this shop. I want to share that a previous order advertised as solid gold ($350) wore down to reveal silver metal underneath after 2 years of normal wear, meaning it was certainly plated ($35 version).
When I reached out, the seller denied the earrings were from their shop, even though they were the replacement they sent when the original was lost in the mail (I have no other earrings in this style).
My most recent pair that is gold vermeil also arrived with a broken mechanism, and I haven’t received a response about an exchange. Just sharing my experience as a returning customer.

Do I get singles or pairs in the set?
Your choice, on this page. "Pairs (2 ears)" gives you every piece in the set twice, so both ears match; "Singles (for 1 ear)" gives you one of each piece, which is what you want to build one curated ear and leave the other plain — or to top up a stack you already own. Check what is in the set in the description; each piece is listed.
How do I wear an earring stack — which piece goes in which piercing?
Biggest at the bottom, smallest at the top. The first (lowest) lobe piercing takes the hoop or the drop; the second takes a smaller huggie or a stud; the third, if you have one, takes the smallest stud; cartilage takes a flat-back stud or a cuff. Keep the whole ear in one metal colour and let one piece sparkle — a stack where everything is pavé reads as noise. The set arrives already sized to sit together, so you put it in and go.
Is this earring real gold?
Yes — it is 18K gold vermeil: a thick layer of real 18K gold bonded over solid 925 sterling silver. Vermeil is an FTC-defined standard, not a marketing word, and ours uses a gold layer at least five times thicker than standard plating. Under it is sterling silver, which is hypoallergenic and worth something on its own. You can also choose the Prestige Gold option (the same 18K gold over a brass core) if you want the look for less and wear it less often. Every vermeil piece is covered by our 2-year warranty.
What is an ear jacket?
A two-part earring: a stud in front, and a second piece that slides onto the post behind the lobe and hangs below it, so one piercing looks like two. You can wear the stud alone for work and add the jacket for dinner. The jacket is held by the stud's back, so it sits flat and does not turn.
What is an ear cuff, and does it need a piercing?
No piercing. An ear cuff is a small open hoop that clamps gently onto the edge of the ear — usually the upper cartilage — and stays by tension. Slide it on from the thinnest part of the ear's rim and push it into place; loosen or tighten the opening a touch with your fingers if it slips. It is how you get three piercings' worth of ear with no needles involved.
Can I shower or sleep in my gold vermeil earring?
Sleep in it, yes. Shower in it, no. Water, sweat, perfume and hairspray are what age gold vermeil fastest, so the rule is simple: jewelry goes on last and comes off before the shower, the pool or the gym. Put it on after lotion and perfume have dried. When it is off, keep it in the pouch it came in — the pouch is anti-tarnish, not decoration. To clean it, a soft dry cloth; never jewelry dip or anything abrasive, which strips the gold. Treated this way, vermeil keeps its colour for years, which is exactly why we can put a 2-year warranty behind it.
Can I mix the set with earrings I already own, or mix metals?
Yes to both. A set is a starting point, not a uniform — swap one piece for a favourite stud and the ear still reads as styled because the proportions are right. Mixing gold and silver on one ear works if you do it on purpose: alternate them top to bottom rather than putting all the silver on one side. Mixing across the two ears (gold left, silver right) is harder to pull off; keep each ear consistent.
Is an earring set a good gift?
It is the gift for the woman with more than one piercing and no time to curate — the set arrives already coordinated, so her only job is putting it in. For a single piercing, give the pairs version and she wears the pieces one at a time. It arrives in our gift box with a suede pouch.

Are these earrings good for sensitive ears?
Yes. The part that touches your piercing is sterling silver (under 18K gold vermeil), 316L surgical steel, or solid 14K gold depending on the tier you choose — all three are nickel-safe and the same metals piercing studios use for fresh piercings. The reaction most people blame on "gold earrings" is actually nickel or brass in cheap posts, and there is none in ours. If your ears are very reactive, choose the 18K gold vermeil or solid gold option and wipe the posts with a little rubbing alcohol before the first wear.
