What's the best personalized gift if you're not sure?

Her own initial. One character to get right, no size, no assumption about taste or belief. A full name is more striking but needs the spelling and the font decided. A birthstone is safe if you know the month and nothing else about her jewelry.

Can personalized gifts be returned?

Not for a change of mind — that's standard everywhere, because nobody else wants a necklace with the wrong name on it. Which means the spelling is the whole risk. Check it against how she writes it, not how you assume it's spelled.

How far ahead should I order?

A week. Each piece is cut or engraved after you order, so production takes a few business days before shipping even starts. There's no stock to expedite. Ordering the day before a birthday is the one thing that reliably goes wrong.

What can actually be personalized?

Names, initials, dates, short phrases, birthstone choice, metal colour and chain length. Names run up to four on one chain, five on bar styles. Around 15 to 20 characters fits on an engraved bar before letters get too small to read.

Is a partner's name a good idea?

Honestly, less often than people think. A partner's name or initial reads as a bigger commitment than intended and dates badly if things change. Her own name, or a child's, is what gets worn for years. That's not romance advice, just what comes back least.

Will the engraving last?

It's cut into metal rather than printed, so it doesn't wear away — edges soften over years. On gold vermeil the cut exposes silver beneath, showing as a lighter line inside the letters. Rings show it soonest because hands take the most abrasion.
